Congress has appointed Supriya Shrinate as chairman of social media and digital platforms in its communications department, replacing Rohan Gupta who has been appointed party spokesperson with immediate effect.

“The Congress Speaker has approved the appointment of Supriya Shrinate as Chair of Social Media and Digital Platforms in the new Communications Department with immediate effect,” an official party statement read.
