Solution of Child Labor Problem

In many developing and developed countries child labour is become a vulnerable topic that effects their childhood, their potential as well as it also interferes and harms children’s physical ,mental and social development. It also damages, spoils and destroys the life of the children. Children want to go school, but unhappily, they are enforced to do opposed to their bound. It is totally illegal act for which one should be punished but because of the unproductive rules and regulations it is going side by side.

The first and foremost problem that is faced by children is psychological abuse. According to Shah, Ghazi and Khan in 2016, many parents are not able to work and many parents want that their children help their siblings to survive in this era. Therefore, they send them in factories to work and children are more easily hired because they get less money than adults. Employers also think that abusing children is easier than adults so they give long working hours to them. Child labour is expected to work long hours it leads physical harm because they can not hold hard work for long hours than others as well as they do not know how to use machines in sweatshops. Thus, it harms them physically.

The second problem of child labour is illiteracy. The rate of the child labour is high because of the poverty, low level awareness for education and poor schooling opportunities. Most of the children send in the agriculture work by their parents in the rural areas. Mainly Poverty and lack of schools get birth to child labour in the world. Poor parents or parents under poverty line can not afford the education expenses of their kids and they are unable to earn enough money for the family survival. So, they send their adolescents in hard work to fulfil their needs instead of sending them to school. They think that schooling is a waste of time and earning money in early age is good for their family ( Shah, Ghazi & Khan, 2016). To sum up, because of illiteracy rate many children do not get the chance to make their future bright.

In order to get rid of the social issue of child labor, there is need to follow some effective solutions on urgent basis to save the future of any developing country. There is need of more effective and strict government laws against child labour in order to prevent children from working in their little age. Business owners of factories, industries, mines, etcetera should take the pledge of not involving children in any type of labour. Moreover, All the children should be given first priority by their parents to take proper and regular education from their early childhood. This step needs much cooperation by the parents as well as schools to free children for education and take admission of children from all walks of life respectively (Parker, Law, Ligon, Smyth, Verdery, Summer & Geer, 1908).

In conclusion, it restates that child labour is becoming serious problem day by day which needs to solve on urgent basis with the support of parents, teacher as well as government. Children should get the proper chance to develop and grow in a happy environment of family and school. They should not be forced to keep and maintain the economical situation of family .
